Possibility of snow for County Wexford

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow snow-ice warning for Leinster, County Waterford, and County Monaghan, with up to 3cm of snow possible. Wexford County Council has also issued a road safety alert.

Video: Wexford cyclist almost gets hit by a car

Video footage of a car overtaking a cyclist at high speed in Wexford has circulated online. Road safety officer Noel Gibbons has called for a law requiring motorists to give cyclists a minimum passing distance of 1.5 metres.
