A spokesperson for TK Maxx has told Wexford Hub that the store is expected to open its doors at the end of May. The department store chain, which will occupy the Stonebridge development on Wexford Town’s quay-front, is expected to employ up to 40 people.
Media reports in October had estimated that the store would open in March of 2015, ‘at the earliest.’ However, the company has now confirmed that the opening will take place at the end of May, providing the store-fitting process does not run into any unforeseen problems.
The recruitment drive for the TK Maxx store in Wexford will start at the beginning of March. During this period, the company will advertise its available job positions on their recruitment website.
