Wexford woman offers Croke Park residents free accommodation during Garth Brooks concerts.

A hopeful Wexford woman has offered up the use of her two spare bedrooms to Croke Park residents if they agree to let the five Garth Brooks concerts go ahead.

The woman, who hopes to attend Monday’s gig, said that she would take four people into her house throughout the duration of the concerts and that she would provide them with a full Irish breakfast each morning.

“If the residents need a holiday away from Garth Brooks, I’ll take four of them, for no charge at all”, said the woman, as she was speaking to Joe Duffy on RTE’s popular Liveline radio show.

“I’ll do a full Irish Breakfast for them every morning, if they want. Wexford is a gorgeous county and there will be a lot of places to see. It’ll be a little holiday for them.”

The woman, who identified herself as Margaret, stated that other people around the country would follow suit if the concerts went ahead as originally planned.
