Gardai reveal that Sait Canbullu was not abducted.

Update (5PM): The An Garda Síochána have announced that Sait has been found safe and well in County Sligo.

The Child Rescue Alert for missing teenager Sait Canbullu has been called off after Gardai stated that they no longer believe that he was abducted by men in ski masks.

Although the alert has been cancelled, Sait Canbullu’s whereabouts is still being treated as a missing persons case.

The alert was issued yesterday when the An Garda Síochána received reports that the 15 year old had been kidnapped by masked men.

According to the reports, Canbullu had been set upon by two men at the junction between Rowe Street and High Street in Wexford Town.

However, since then, “extensive enquiries” have been made and the Gardai have revealed that they are satisfied with the theory that there was no abduction.
