Cinema Lane in Wexford Town was named after the Palace Cinema, the town’s first proper cinema which opened in 1914. It was also the scene of an unsolved murder in 1958.

Crescent Quay

Crescent Quay forms part of Wexford Quay in Wexford Town and is best known for its bronze statue of Commodore John Barry, presented as a gift from the United States in the 1950s.

Ferrybank lies on the eastern bank of the River Slaney opposite Wexford Town. It is known for the Riverbank House Hotel, Wexford Swimming Pool, Ely Hospital, Ferrybank Caravan Park, and its history as a United States Naval Air Station during World War One.
