€534,280 worth of heroin, ecstasy and cannabis resin has been seized in Rosslare, County Wexford.

An Irish man in his thirties and a 40-year-old Scottish national were detained after “Ralph the Rosslare customs dog” discovered the drugs in the fuel tank of a UK-registered vehicle.

The two men had been travelling from Cherbourg in France.

The bust led to the seizure of 2.7 kilos of heroin, 1 kilo of cannabis resin and 1 kilo of ecstasy. Customs also seized a small quantity of LSD tablets.
