Time

The most important factor when visiting the stadium is time. Arriving an hour or two before throw-in can help avoid a scramble for parking, particularly for high-profile fixtures.

Wexford GAA designates several official match-day parking areas. These are supervised, pay-to-use car parks that typically cost around €5 per car. The main options include:

  • St. Peter’s College (paid, supervised parking)
  • North End United FC (paid, supervised parking)
  • Clonard Church (paid, supervised parking)
  • St. Joseph’s Community Centre, Distillery Road (8-10 minute walk)
  • Whitemill and Clonard Industrial Estates (curbside parking)

To see a full list of parking options in the town, view our map of car parks.

Note that Corish Park, Moongate, and Whiterock View are residential housing estates. They are not designated parking areas. Garda traffic cones are often in place.

As always, be considerate of local residents. Avoid blocking driveways or parking in a way that causes inconvenience.

Disabled parking at Chadwicks Wexford Park is limited and requires advance booking. Fans must apply for a Wexford GAA Car Pass by phone or email, providing a copy of their blue badge.

Lidl

Some fans park in the nearby Lidl car park, but this carries risks. Lidl have been known to clamp vehicles left by GAA attendees, as these spaces are intended for customers only.

Clamping and towing are enforced in many car parks, with release fees of €120 reported.

Big Games

On big match days, such as All-Ireland championship qualifiers and league fixtures, the parking situation can become more intense. The installation of floodlights in 2022 and 2023 has allowed evening matches, which changes parking dynamics as fans may need to find spaces in the dark. These games often take place during the summer, when better weather makes it easier to park further from the ground. Many visiting fans arrive hours early, find a space, and walk into Wexford Town centre for food before heading back to the stadium. If you are comfortable with a 10- to 15-minute walk, consider consulting our guide on car parks in Wexford Town.
