Fiona Nalty, 25, and Arry Green, 22, have been sentenced to life in prison in London for the murder of Wexford man Michael Hunt.
The couple, who must serve a minimum of 19 years in prison before being considered for release, savagely beat Hunt before stripping him naked and dumping him into a skip.
Hunt, a father of four, was later discovered and taken to hospital, where he died five hours later.
According to one pathologist, Hunt’s head injuries were similar to those of a boxer who had been repeatedly punched in the head.
During sentencing, Judge Stephen Kramer QC told the couple that they “knew perfectly well” what they were doing, despite being intoxicated. He described the attack as “brutal, sustained, and lethal.”
Hunt and his family had moved to London from Kilmore Quay in Wexford 17 years ago.
