Four people in County Wexford have been arrested in connection with false imprisonment, blackmail and criminal damage.
The incidents that led to the arrests occurred between the 25th of January and the 3rd of February.
The four suspects were arrested in Gorey and Enniscorthy at around 8.30am yesterday morning.
Two men aged 25 and 33, and one woman aged 31, are currently being held at Enniscorthy and Wexford Garda stations under the Offences Against the State Act.
A fourth woman, aged 48, was also held in Gorey Garda Station under the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. She was later released without charge.
A file is currently being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
