Every Christmas, the Wexford County Council designates dates and times when shoppers can avail of free parking in council-operated car parks. The following dates and times have been announced for the 2015 Christmas season in Wexford Town:
- Tuesday, the 24th of November: 11AM to 6:30PM.
- Tuesday, the 1st of December: 11AM to 6:30PM.
- Tuesday, the 8th of December: 11AM to 6:30PM.
- Tuesday, the 15th of December: 11AM to 6:30PM.
- Saturday, the 19th of December: 10AM to 6:30PM.
- Monday, the 21st of December: 10AM to 6:30PM.
- Tuesday, the 22nd of December: 10AM to 6:30PM.
- Wednesday, the 23rd of December: 10AM to 6:30PM.
- Thursday, the 24th of December: 10AM to 6:30PM.
Each Tuesday, between the 24th of November and the 15th of December, Christmas shoppers will be able to avail of free parking between the times of 11AM and 6:30PM. From Saturday, the 19th of December onward, free parking will be made available between the times of 10AM and 6:30PM.
Please note that free parking will only be available in car parks that are operated by the Wexford County Council. i.e. Privately-operated car parks are not included in these arrangements.
