Wexford woman Kelly Roche (25) died after her vehicle collided with another car on the N25 Rosslare Road at Kilmacree, County Wexford, at approximately 12.25pm yesterday afternoon.
Paramedics took her to Wexford General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
The male driver and female passenger in the other car suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital. Both are believed to be in their 50s.
The road reopened on Sunday after a Garda Forensic Collision Examination was completed.
Roche, who was from the Summerhill area of Wexford Town, is the 69th person to die on Ireland’s roads this year.
