The An Garda Síochána arrested three Romanian nationals at Rosslare Europort last night after they were found in possession of suspected stolen property.
Officers and Revenue officials detained the three men after they stopped a white Mercedes truck that was headed for Cherbourg in France.
During a search of the vehicle, gardai discovered an estimated €70,000 worth of goods – including power tools, garden machinery, bicycles and beer kegs.
The three men, who were in their 20s and 30s, were arrested at the scene.
They are being detained at Wexford Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
