Police have charged a 25-year-old Irish woman with the murder of 29-year-old Wexford man David Walsh in Sydney, Australia.
The incident occurred yesterday at a property in Watson Road in the suburb of Padstow. Walsh, who was from Enniscorthy, was found with a stab wound to his neck.
Police responded to reports of a fight between a group of people. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the father of three died at the scene.
A 25-year-old Irish woman and a 36-year-old local man were arrested at the scene. The woman, who was known to the victim, has been charged with his murder and is due to appear in Parramatta Local Court tomorrow. New South Wales Police are still questioning the man.
