Wexford at risk of spot flooding as Met Éireann issues rainfall warning

Met Éireann have issued a rainfall warning for counties Wexford, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, Cork, and Waterford.

Roughly 25 to 40 mm of rain is expected to fall between now and Saturday morning.

Met Éireann has also warned that there is a risk of spot flooding in some areas.

Wexford and other areas on the south-east coast of Ireland are expected to see the worst of the rain.

A Status Yellow national weather warning is in effect.
